Although TeamChoice offers excellent network coverage in the Lubbock service area, they recognized the need members would occasionally have to access specialty care outside of Lubbock. Examples might include, access to specialty care facilities like MD Anderson; access to care when traveling; or medical needs of students living outside of Texas. TeamChoice has chosen to utilize TrueChoice USA's PPO partners for these services.

Throughout the rest of the State (outside the Lubbock area), TeamChoice and TrueChoice USA have selected the Alliance network (North West Texas Hospital) in Amarillo, and the Texas True Choice statewide PPO to extend network access for TeamChoice members. Coupled with TeamChoice, these networks provide an additional 292 hospitals and more than 44,000 physicians statewide. Beech Street will serve as the national wrap network. TrueChoice USA's primary functions will be to manage provider data and supply repricing services for TeamChoice utilizing the state-of-the-art ppoONE system.
